For the merchant, to goal is to increase efficiency. This is achieved by reducing staff required, as many orders are now automated. The app, functioning as an automated terminal, does not require training or breaks, and does not make mistakes. Each of these points result in money being saved. In addition to these perks, the merchants are now able to build data sets, allowing them to study what menus are the most popular and profitable. They can then tailor their marketing in the best way possible.
To take part in the program the merchant will pay a fee in the Gastery token WTR, allowing them to operate as a terminal. As the amount of restaurants using the system increases, so does the scarcity of the tokens in circulation. This will then lead to an increase in value, further incentivizing consumers to use the app and attain rewards. This cycle is self-perpetuating, and will be mutually beneficial to both buyers and sellers.
